1. Organisers
1.1 The organiser of this competition is Adcock Ingram Healthcare (Pty) Ltd and/or its designated agencies, collectively referred to as the "Organisers."
2. Competition Period
2.1 The competition will run from 1 May 2025 to 31 July 2025.
3. Prize Details
3.1 Two (2) lucky winners will each win a trip for two (the winner and their chosen companion) to London, England, valued at R150,000 (one hundred and fifty thousand rands). This is referred to as the "Prize."
3.2 The prize includes:
- a) Return flights for two (2) from South Africa to London, England.
- b) Five (5) nights' accommodation in London, inclusive of breakfast, lunch, and dinner.
- c) Tailored E45 experiences, selected by the Organisers.
- d) A tour of the global E45 Headquarters in London.
- e) The cost of applicable UK visas for the winner and their companion.
- f) Pre-booked transportation, including shuttles to and from the airport, transportation for scheduled events, and public transport in pre-selected areas.
3.3 The prize excludes:
- a) Personal expenses, such as personal care items and clothing.
- b) Experiences and excursions not part of the E45 itinerary.
- c) Drinks and meals outside of those provided by the E45 Experience.
- d) Medical and travel insurance.
- e) Additional spending money.
3.4 Prize Conditions:
- a) The Prize must be accepted as awarded and is not transferable unless agreed to in writing by the Organisers.
- b) Winners and their companions must be available for travel during October 2025 (or such other dates as determined by the Organisers).
- c) Each winner and their chosen companion must have a valid passport with at least six (6) months’ validity from the date of return to South Africa.
- d) Winners and companions must meet UK visa requirements. If a visa is denied or delayed, the Prize will be forfeited, and a runner-up may be selected.
4. How to Enter
To participate, entrants must:
- a) Purchase any of the following eligible E45 Lotion or E45 Face products during the competition period (E45 Cream products are excluded):
- E45 Moisturising Lotion (any size)
- E45 Daily Lotion (any size)
- E45 Junior Moisturising Lotion
- E45 Rich 24hr Moisturising Lotion (any size)

- E45 Lips and Dry Skin Balm
- E45 Face Night Cream
- b) Record a video sharing their #E45SkinStory.
- c) Upload the video to www.me45.co.za.
5. Entry Conditions
- 5.1 Participants may enter multiple times, but must retain each of their till slips as proof of purchase.
- 5.2 Winners will be selected within 14 days after the competition closes and will be contacted telephonically.
- 5.3 If a winner cannot be reached after three (3) phone calls, the Organisers reserve the right to select an alternate winner.
- 5.4 Winners and their companions must verify their details within 72 hours of contact and provide their passports. Failure to do so will result in forfeiture of the prize.
- 5.5 Winners and their companions may be required to sign an indemnity form.
6. Eligibility
- 6.1 The competition is open to South African citizens/residents aged 18 years or older, with a valid South African ID or driver’s license.
- 6.2 The winner’s chosen companion must also be 18 years or older with a valid South African ID or driver’s license.
- 6.3 Employees of Adcock Ingram, its affiliated agencies, partners, and their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
7. Judging & Selection
- 7.1 Winners will be selected based on the clarity, depth, and creativity of their #E45SkinStory video by a panel of judges appointed by the Organisers.
- 7.2 The judges’ decision is final, and no correspondence will be entered into.
8. Use of Video Content
- 8.1 The Organiser may publish the participants’ #E45SkinStory videos in any advertising and promotional material or digital media for this competition and any other future campaigns/promotions - provided that the participants have given their consent to the Organiser. Participants have a right to decline the invitation to use their video content in marketing material or to participate in any marketing activity.
- 8.2 Each prize winner, by accepting the prize, irrevocably grants the Organiser the right to use their name, image, likeness, and any photographs or videos from the trip that feature them, in any and all advertising, promotional materials, and digital media related to this competition or any future campaigns or promotions. The prize winner waives any right to inspect or approve such use and agrees that they shall not be entitled to any compensation or payment in connection with such use.
- 8.3 Each prize winner agrees to capture photographs and videos during their trip and to share such content on their personal social media platforms and with the Organiser. By accepting the prize, each winner grants the Organiser a perpetual, worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, edit, and publish any such photographs, videos, and other content, as well as their name, likeness, and biographical information, in any advertising, promotional materials, or digital media related to this competition and in future campaigns or promotions. Prize winners waive any right to compensation or further approval for such use.
9. General Terms
- 9.1 Entry is not open to:
(i) any director, member, partner, employee, agent of, consultant to, lessee of, sub-lessee of, (employee of such lessee/sub-lessee), or anyone associated with or affiliated to the Organisers via any direct/indirect brand affiliation or otherwise, and
(ii) such prohibition extends to any spouse, life partner, parent, child, brother, sister, business partner of such persons listed in (i).
- 9.2 Adcock Ingram’s internal auditors are the appointed auditors for this competition. Adcock Ingram reserves the right to appoint external auditors in its sole discretion and for any reason whatsoever.
- 9.3 Adcock Ingram reserves the right to cancel, terminate, modify or suspend the competition and any Prize (which have not been subject to a draw), or any aspect thereof, or the terms and conditions at any time, and for any reason, with or without notice and without any liability. In the event of such termination, all entrants hereby immediately agree to waive any rights they may have in terms of this competition and acknowledge that they have no recourse against Adcock Ingram, its agents and/or promoters.
- 9.4 Subject to the provisions of the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, the Prize winner accepts the Prize at his/her own risk and Adcock Ingram will not be liable for any costs incurred by the winner in claiming their prize. Adcock Ingram cannot be held responsible for any accident, injury, or loss of property experienced as a result of winning, accepting and/or utilising Prizes won.
- 9.5 Entries which are duplicated, which contain offensive or inappropriate material, which are unclear, illegible, are submitted via an incorrect entry mechanism or contain errors or are from disqualified persons, will be declared invalid. Any technical failures that lead to any promotional competition entry being invalid or not received will not be Adcock Ingram’s, and Adcock Ingram cannot be held responsible for technical errors.
- 9.6 All participants and the winners, as the case may be, indemnify Adcock Ingram, its advertising agencies, advisers, nominated agents, suppliers and its affiliates and/or associated companies against any and all claims of any nature whatsoever arising out of and/or from their participation in any way howsoever in this promotional competition (including, as a result of any act or omission, whether as a result of negligence, misrepresentation, misconduct or otherwise on the part of Adcock Ingram and/or use of the Prizes).
- 9.7 The Organisers reserve the right, at any time, to verify the Entrant’s entry (including their identity, age and place of residence) and reserve the right, in its sole discretion, to disqualify any individual who the Organiser has reason to believe has breached any of these Terms and Conditions, tampered with the claim process or engaged in any unlawful or other improper misconduct calculated to jeopardise fair and proper conduct of the promotion. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Organiser’s discretion. Failure by the Organiser to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of those rights. The Organiser’s legal rights to recover damages or other compensation from such an offender are reserved.
- 9.8 The Organisers are not responsible for any incorrect information provided by the Entrant.
- 9.10 Winners cannot win if they have won an E45 competition within the last 12 (twelve) months.
- 9.11 No cash or other alternatives in whole or part substitution of the specified prizes will be offered, and the prizes are non-transferable. However, the Organiser reserves the right to replace any Prize with a prize of equivalent value.

- 9.14 These Terms and Conditions and any issues or disputes which may arise out of or in connection herewith (whether such disputes or issues are contractual or non-contractual in nature, such as claims in tort, for breach of statute or regulation or otherwise) shall be governed by and construed in accordance with South African law. Entrants hereby irrevocably submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the South African courts to settle any such dispute or issues.
